ExO Works Co-Founder & Chairman, Salim Ismail, is a sought-after speaker, award-winning author, strategist and entrepreneur based in Silicon Valley. He travels extensively addressing topics including breakthrough technologies and their impact on a variety of industries and society in general.
Salim founded ExO Works in 2016 to help transform global business by catapulting organizations into the world of exponential thinking. ExO Works delivers a 10-week program called the ExO Sprint that leapfrogs an organization’s mindset forward by two years.
Salim has also been building Singularity University (SU) since 2010 initially as its founding Executive Director and currently as Global Ambassador. SU is based at NASA Ames and is training a new generation of leaders to manage exponentially growing technologies. Before that, as a Vice President at Yahoo, he built and ran Brickhouse, Yahoo’s internal incubator. His last company, Angstro, was sold to Google in August 2010. He has founded or operated seven early-stage companies including PubSub Concepts, which laid some of the foundation for the real-time web.
He has been featured in numerous media outlets, including the New York Times, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Fortune, Wired and the BBC. He advises Fortune 500 executives and many world governments on the future of technology and is the author of best-seller Exponential Organizations.
Co-Founder & CEO, ExO Works
Francisco Palao, is an award-winning innovator who has inspired and advised organizations around the world to design and implement disruptive innovation strategies. He is the co-author of the book Transform: How to Become an Exponential Organization in 10 Weeks, designed to help companies implement the ExO model step by step.
Previously, Francisco founded several companies including LeanMonitor, a cloud-based platform acquired by Gust.com. LeanMonitor helps large organizations and startups implement lean startup principles and improve their innovation strategies. Francisco also founded Nativoo, an AI-based platform, acquired by SBTUR, and IActive, a high-tech company focused on AI, named Cool Vendor by Gartner.
Francisco collaborates with leading business schools and universities, such as Singularity University and IE Business School teaching entrepreneurship, disruptive innovation and exponential technologies. He has been honored with several prestigious international recognitions and was granted the TR35 award by MIT, honoring the Top Innovators under 35.
Francisco holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Granada, and an Executive MBA from the IE Business School. He is also a graduate student of Singularity University and was mentored by Steve Blank on Lean Startup Methodologies at Berkley University.
Chief Operating Officer
Michelle oversees all day-to-day operations at ExO Works, including project delivery and consultant certification. She brings extensive experience supporting business leadership in defining and implementing strategic direction in response to change.
ExO Network Director
Che manages the ExO Network and general operations at ExO Works. She has a background in political science and cultural theory and brings experience with applying exponential principles, IT recruiting and community management.
Global Business Development Director
Vivian leads the growth strategy at ExO Works by building the global network of partners, clients and channels. Previously, she was the Director of the Innovation Ecosystem for Mexico’s Presidential Office.
Chief Financial Officer
Larry oversees all financial, legal and administrative functions at ExO Works. He brings a depth of entrepreneurial, operational and strategic experience, including co-founding several business startups.
Chief Product Officer
Eva leads the product design and development of the ExO Lever platform. Previously, she has defined, developed and launched innovative products for multiple startups using new development methodologies.
